Wag sitting in the sun

I decided that I wanted to try something new and different in terms of style. I took some pictures of my dog when I was at home and chose a full body one to illustrate.

I was aiming for a less detail oriented and more expressive brush strokes. I tried to create sharp angles and exaggerate his features. I also took on the challenge of including the background too, which I stylised heavily. I am so happy with this piece and want to make more in this style. I found this to be a really enjoyable piece and I love how it turned out.
